Sloop 6th Rate (Atholl Class 1816.) Launched 07/02/1824 at Woolwich Dockyard. Armament 28 guns, (20 x 32 pdr carronades, 6 x 18 pdr carronades, 2 x 9 pdrs.) Normally 175 crew.

Dimensions & tons: 113ft 8in, 94ft 8+in x 31ft 6in x 8ft 9in. 499 91/94 bm

Designed by the Surveyors of the Navy; employed as a storeship in 1849 for the Arctic. Broken up 15/03/1860 at Chatham.

a) 21/07/1842 Attack on Chinese entrenched camp. Storming and capture of City of Chin Keang Foo at the entrance of South Grand Canal in the Yang-Tse-Keang.
